TOMATOES - CHERRY

We grow a medley of cherry tomatoes, the orange “Sungold” being the sweetest, the purpleish “Black Cherry” in the middle, and “Sakura” being the classic cherry tomato. Obviously cherry tomatoes are a great snack (good luck making it home with any), but we like to make pico de gallo, bruschetta, and caprese skewers with them when we’re sick of eating them by the handful. Add them to a summer pasta salad, crostinis, and pizzas.

STORAGE: Tomatoes taste best when they are stored out of the fridge. Depending on their ripeness, they will last about 1-2 weeks.

PRESERVATION: To extend the harvest, freeze whole or can.
