Winter squash - buttercup

Buttercup squash is similar to acorn squash. It’s a little bigger, so I’d only recommend using it for a bowl if you’re super hungry! It’s great sliced into thick slivers and roasted as an addition to grilled chicken, on top of a salad, or as a whole meal. All the varieties of our winter squash have been cured, toughening the outer skin and creating a protective layer for storage.

STORAGE: Store in a cool, dark place. Do not store in the fridge. Basements are great storage places. Buttercup squash can last 2-3 months if stored correctly.
